So with the year 2010 to an end, I decided to make a list of the top 5 books of 2010. I hope you may find some books good enough to read them. The list goes as follows :
Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
One of my favorite authors is Sophie Kinsella and when the book "mini shopaholic "was released I was unusually desperate to grab a copy of the book. The story revolves around Becky's two year old daughter Minnie whose favorite word is "mine". From a scarf at Denny and George to a pony for thanksgiving anything she likes is her own. She hires a taxi randomly and never misses a chance to create trouble whether at Harrods or her christening. As if this wasn't enough Luke and becky are still living with their mum and dad, and London is hit by a financial crisis. People are cutting back including Becky's own clients. To lighten things up she decides to throw a surprise party for Luke and suddenly things stir up resulting into great complications.

Gingersnaps by Cathy Cassidy
Gingersnaps is about a girl who has the bad fortune of having her hair match her name:- GINGER. In primary school she was badly bullied by the popular girl Chelsea and her friends, even the teachers smirked when they heard her name. She had no friends and the only people who she ever talked to was Emily and Meg who were happy being just the two of them and she felt lonely. Everything changes for her in Secondary school as she befriends the cool Shannon and the two become best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily Ginger's world's goes upside down. As all the the bad memories that she buried away a long time ago seem to be coming back in her life and even the saxophone playing boy :- Sam Tyler can't help as he is also part of the big mess. The book focuses on friendship and gives us some life changing lessons which make the book a worth read.

Chicken soup for the teenage soul III by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hanson and Kimberly Kirberger
The book is dedicated to Teenagers and moreover is written by teens. The third book of the teenage soul series goes deeper into the issues teenagers face everyday and also offers compassion and understanding in different situations of life. Most of the times it offers stories that we can relate to our own lives. A book you will read and re-read as it is highly addictive.

Chicken soup for the teenage soul on Love and friendship by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hanson and Kimberly Kirberger
the book is another captivating one with more than hundred stories of love and friendship of the famous teenage soul series. Some of my favorite read from the book are :- "Teenage love", "saying goodbye", "tag" and "the rumor was true".
